JOIN US FOR SUMMER WORSHIP, THROUGH LABOR DAY, AT 9 A.M. DUMC joins with RUMC and United Church once again at Pinkney Park for a shared Sunday worship (outside, weather-permitting, or inside RUMC), 9 A.M, with Rev. Laura L. Galbraith leading and preaching. Bring a lawn chair (or we’ll have extras) or a blanket and join us for worship under the trees overlooking the water. We’ll show you where to park along the road in front of the park or in municipal parking, a 5-minute walk away. Dogs, cats, breakfast to-go, shorts and t-shirts are appropriate and most welcome! Worship Services at Darien UMC resume on Sunday, September 13th.
SAVE THE DATE: RALLY DAY, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH! Join us at 10:30 a.m. as we gather outside (weather permitting) for another season of Worship and fellowship! Third Graders will receive their Bibles (let us know, if you have a Third Grader) and your pets are welcome to come for a Blessing of the Animals. Light refreshments will follow.

MFC PRESCHOOL NEWS: School reopens for the 2026-27 school year on September 14th! Our Annual Ice Cream Social, to welcome back our Preschool families, is Sunday afternoon, Sept. 13th, 4 p.m. All are welcome! And would you like to donate a brick to the school entranceway? SUNDAY SCHOOL: Our Sunday School program for our elementary-age children will resume on non-Communion Sundays, on Sept. 27th. We’re always looking for some more volunteers to help us staff our One Room Sunday School! We provide easy to follow curriculum, supplies and all that you need each week.
